This treatment is recommended once or twice per week to maintain your marble surfaces and floors. For Marble Tiles, visit https://www.irwintiles.ie/marble-stone-tiles
How to Deal with Stains
Reacting to stains on marble will help you to avoid them. Use a soft, damp cloth to dab the spillage away as soon as possible. Repeat the process until the cloth becomes clear.
Mix a marble cleaner of 12% peroxide and a few drops of ammonia, apply it to the stain with a towel, then remove with a damp cloth.
How to test if your marble bathroom tiles need sealing
Water spots are a quick and easy way to determine if you need to seal your marble. Sprinkle a few drops on the tiles to see if the stone darkens in 10-15 minutes. You will need to reseal the marble if it darkens.
It is recommended that you remove any stains before sealing your marble. Otherwise, they will be sealed into the stone. Use the above method to thoroughly clean and dry your bathroom tiles. The stone should be as dried as possible for the sealant.
